(Video) Gaku Shibasaki goal: Real Madrid made to pay by Kashima ace for horrendous defending

Real Madrid boast a defence full of experience and quality, but Zinedine Zidane will not be impressed with what he saw against Kashima Antlers.

Leading 1-0 courtesy of an early Karim Benzema goal, it all looked to be going to plan for the Spanish giants in Yokohama in the Club World Cup final.

However, Gaku Shibasaki had other ideas as he pounced on some awful defending from Raphael Varane and Sergio Ramos as he reacted quickest and produced a composed effort to blast past Keylor Navas.

Real have conceded just 14 goals in 15 La Liga games so far this season as they remain unbeaten, and Zidane would have been hoping to rely on Varane and Ramos to keep things tight at the back and not give Kashima a way back into the game.

They weren’t able to stick to the script though as the Japanese side will treasure the moment and hope to cause a major upset with Real now having conceded a goal or more in seven of their last eight games in all competitions and this is probably why.
