Arsenal could have the edge over rivals Tottenham this weekend due to their home advantage and the atmosphere at the Emirates Stadium, according to Martin Keown.
The Gunners have won their last ten games in all competitions at the Emirates, but they have a poor recent record against north London rivals Spurs.
Arsene Wenger has not earned a Premier League win over Tottenham in his last six attempts, but Keown feels this weekend it’ll be the home team that has the edge.
Going into more depth on the issue, Keown explained that Arsenal’s fans will be providing an extra hostile atmosphere after the shame of finishing below Tottenham for the first time in 22 years last season.
‘If this was at Wembley or White Hart Lane, I would be expecting Tottenham to win,’ Keown told the Daily Mail.

‘But Arsenal are a different animal at home. Maybe it is because everything has to be perfect for them. The familiarity and support teases out more expressive performances.
‘Arsenal’s support will be more vociferous on Saturday because their dominance has been snatched away.
‘Tottenham fans used to be so bitter because Arsenal were winning trophies. Now, the Arsenal fans will be angry.
‘Whatever may be missing from Arsenal’s performance will be made up in the support from their fans. They will make this a white-hot atmosphere for Spurs.’
