Spurs are reportedly keeping tabs on Hamburg ace Jann-Fiete Arp, with the Lilywhites joining rivals Chelsea in their apparent pursuit of the Bundesliga record holder.
This is according to the Mirror, who state that Mauricio Pochettino’s side have joined Chelsea, Arsenal and Man City in the pursuit of Arp, with the north London side now also reportedly keeping track of the German’s progress.
Should Spurs up their interest in Arp, we could see them go head-to-head with Chelsea for the youngster, who were reportedly keen on signing the player last summer according to the Mirror.
Since making his Bundesliga debut for Hamburg earlier this season, Arp has got everyone talking.
In eight appearances for Hamburg in the league so far this season, Arp has managed to get two goals, an impressive return for a player of his age.
By scoring those two goals, Arp also become a record holder in the Bundesliga, as the German’s strike means that he became the first player born after 2000 to score in Germany’s top flight.
For Hamburg’s youth sides, Arp showed exactly what he’s capable of, as the young forward scored 37 in 45 appearances for Hamburg’s under-17’s, a very impressive feat.
