Newcastle prepare move for £40m World Cup winner

According to Media Foot, Newcastle are expected to line up Deadline Day bid for Julian Draxler.

The 28-year-old has falling out of favour at PSG and the club are keen to offload him before Deadline Day.

Julian DraxlerNewcastle enquired about his services earlier this month but PSG rebuffed the offer, demanding close to £26m for midfielder.

Newcastle owners are keen to add another player after missing out on Lucas Paqueta, who joined West Ham in a club record deal.

Dan Ashworth believes PSG will likely drop the asking price for the Germany international and a deal could be strucked by tomorrow’s 11pm deadline.
