George Caulkin has been impressed by Newcastle recruitment since PIF ownership started but reckons success ‘won’t go on forever’.
The Magpies has hit the jackpot with the signings of Bruno Guimaraes, Sven Botman or Dan Burn. All players have proved to be great signings and have helped the club take a new leap in Premier League standings.

Caulkin thinks Newcastle will struggle to keep their best players until they become a top-four club.
“As I say, I don’t want Bruno to go I love him, but I’m using that as an example, it’s quite possible that until Newcastle are a top-four club, this is the situation that they have to face and all clubs do it now.” – said Caulkin for Pod on the Tyne podcast.

This is utter twaddle. These guys are signed up becuase they love the atmoshere, the love the involvement of managment all through the club, they love the manager becuse he makea them train and play hard and never publicly criticises them. And they love playing in front of the fans who in turn love them back. They are hero in the town. Sometimes its not all about money but is about job satisfaction.
