Having missed out on the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations, the Super Eagles of Nigeria regrouped in Uyo for an eminently winnable friendly match against East Africans Uganda.

The match marked Enyeama’s century of appearances for the continental giants and he was awarded an award to commemorate the achievement at half-time.

However, while the goalkeeper—nicknamed The Cat for his magnificent reactions—made a handful of saves throughout the match, he was ultimately beaten by Cranes hero Miya Faruku.

Enyeama got a hand to the Ugandan’s effort, but could only deflect it over the line.

The stopper has represented Nigeria at three World Cups and five continental championships. He was influential in 2013 as the Super Eagles lifted the crown.

This year, Enyeama has helped Lille preserve the fourth-best defensive record in the top flight.
