Admittedly, sportingly, it’s not a classic.
You won’t be finding the next Marta or Eniola Aluko here, but for sheer determination and passion, you have to give it to these ladies as they contest an impromptu (we can only assume) back-garden kick-about.
The footwork is, admittedly, more Stewart Downing than Alfredo Di Stefano…and the misplaced finish on 0.32 seconds came right out of the Carlton Cole school of goal poaching, but there’s still something indisputably entertaining about these ladies giving it everything.
