Champions League draw: Man City handed TOUGH group, Arsenal & Man United with EASY route to last 16

The draw for the UEFA Champions League group stages was made today and it has thrown about some very interesting tie for the Barclays Premier League sides.

Reigning champions of England Chelsea were placed in pot 1 and drew Jose Mourinho’s former club Porto, Ukrainian giants Dynamo Kyiv and Isreali outfit Maccabi Tel-Aviv.

Meanwhile the rest of the English sides were placed in pot 2 and out of the trio Manchester United will be the happiest with their group as they will face Eredivisie champions PSV Eindhoven, CSKA Moscow and German club VfL Wolfsburg.

Manchester City drew reigning Serie A champions Juventus, last season’s Europa League winners Sevilla and 1977 finalists Borussia Monchengladbach.

Arsenal have been paired with Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich, Greek outfit Olympiakos and Croatian side Dinamo Zagreb.
