So apparently it’s a done deal, Arsene Wenger has splashed the cash in the transfer market on a player who is well worth breaking the transfer record for!

There are varying figures regarding this supposedly nailed-on transfer, from between £12 and £15m, all valuations that in the current market seem very reasonable when you consider we are talking about a young 20-year-old who has already proven himself with club and country. Clearly it is a good idea to sew up this deal before Euro 2008, where Samir’s value could well increase should he perform well for Raymond Domenech’s side.
Are Arsenal fans glad to see this youngster nearing the Emirates gates? Is Nasri the kind of player that they believe will help them bridge the gap between them and the top two?
