Manchester City and Manchester United are reportedly monitoring the availability of AC Milan’s Yuri Meleleo according to Tutto Mercato Web.
The Italian youngster has been impressing scouts from across the continent as he progresses through the AC Milan youth ranks.
The Italian giants purchased the youngster from Lecce in 2011 before sending him out on loan to Novara.
The striker has been winning numerous plaudits for his performances and is beginning to attract the attention of a number of top European sides.
The Italian forward was born in 1997 and was an integral part of the Italy Under 17 side.
Both the Manchester clubs are now reportedly ready to make their move in the hopes of persuading the player of the merits of English football.
Manchester United are hoping Meleleo will be persuaded by their record of bringing through youngsters into the club’s first team.
City meanwhile are hoping to offer Meleleo a lucrative offer to join up with them at the Etihad.
But the Premier League sides are likely to face stiff competition for the player’s signature with a number of Bundesliga sides also ready to make a bid.
AC Milan are desperate to hold on to the player and hope the progress of Stephan El Shaaraway and M’Baye Niang will persuade him to stay.
