Winger keen to hold clear the air talks with United boss.
Manchester United midfielder Nani is keen to hold clear the air talks with manager David Moyes according to The Sun.
The Portuguese winger found himself increasingly marginalised at the club last season under Moyes’ predecessor Sir Alex Ferguson.
Fergie grew increasingly frustrated with the midfielder’s inconsistent performances and is thought to have been ready to offload the player.
That has prompted speculation linking Nani with a number of European clubs, including the likes of PSG, Monaco and Juventus.
Monaco recently claimed that they had been offered Nani, though negotiations have not begun and Moyes is said to be unhappy at that situation happening before has had a chance to decide on the player’s future.
Nani has one year left on his current deal and, if Moyes decides he has no future at Old Trafford, the club will be looking to cash in on him now rather than risk losing him for nothing in twelve months’ time.
The club would likely be able to command a fee in the region of £8 million for Nani, which could help Moyes as he looks to fund a high profile signing for the club.
United have been strongly linked with Barcelona’s Cesc Fabregas in recent weeks and are thought to be preparing a bid for the former Arsenal captain.
