Top Ten Surprise Non-Movers In This Summer’s Transfer Window

7. Tom Ince (Blackpool)

One of the most highly rated young players in English football, Blackpool starlet Tom Ince looked very much like becoming a Premier League player this summer. The 21-year-old winger scored 18 goals in the Championship last season, and looks too good to be playing in England’s second tier. However, having rejected a move to newly-promoted Cardiff City, interest from the likes of Liverpool, Tottenham, Everton, Newcastle and Aston Villa never amounted to anything, and Ince will continue to develop under the management of his father Paul at Bloomfield Road. He will surely be the subject of more speculation again in January, and may even end up abroad, with Inter Milan credited as another club to have watched him this summer.
