Newly appointed boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is clearly looking to use his connections at his former Old Trafford club to assist in his push to strengthen his Bluebirds squad and a move to bring in Zaha could be a masterstroke.
21 year old winger Wilfred Zaha was in Cardiff on Friday night discussing his proposed short term switch to the Welsh side, a move that will hand the former Crystal Palace man some much needed first team football.
Zaha signed for Man United in a £15m last January but then saw out last term at Selhurst Park, helping the South London side to promotion back to the Premier League. However the England international has struggled to retain a foothold in the Old Trafford first team set-up with David Moyes handing the wide-man just two sub appearances in the Premier League this season.
Moyes’s unwillingness to use Zaha is all the more baffling when you consider the poor form shown by the likes of Nani, Ashley Young and Luis Antonio Valencia.
