The Portugal international is one of a number of players currently at Old Trafford whose futures with the Premier League champions is open to question after what has been yet another underwhelming campaign by mercurial winger.
Nani was given a number of opportunities to stake his claim for a placer in the Red Devils’ first team under new head coach David Moyes this season, but despite making ten appearances in total in all competitions for the Premier League giants, it appears as though the Scot has now finally lost patience with the 27-year-old.
And as a result, the west London club are now hoping to be able to take advantage of the uncertainty currently surrounding the player’s future in the north west, especially as the Cottagers’ new manager Rene Meulensteen worked closely with Nani during his time coaching at the Theatre of Dreams.
However, Fulham face stiff competition for Nani’s signature this month from the Portuguese’s former club Sporting Lisbon.
