Experienced Manchester United captain Patrice Evra could be heading to Serie A champions Juventus when his current contract with the Red Devils runs out at the end of the season, according to reports in the Daily Mirror.

The France international’s present deal at Old Trafford now only runs until June 30 2014 and so the full back will be available to purchase on a lucrative Bosman-style free transfer come next summer.
And with Evra having previously hinted that he will be quitting the Theatre of Dreams at the end of the campaign due to unspecified personal reasons, the Old Lady of Italian Football are now understood to be lining up a move for the 32-year-old by offering the player one last bumper pay day to end his career.
Evra has been in the north west now since January 2006, when the Frenchman arrived at the Premier League giants from Ligue 1 outfit AS Monaco.
And in the intervening eight-year period Evra has gone on to feature in 359 matches in total in all competitions for United, scoring nine goals in the process, including seven strikes in his 258 Premier League outings for the club.
