Man United are ready to conduct a major overhaul of his Old Trafford squad as he seeks to make room for new additions.

CaughtOffside understands that the Scottish boss is keen to trim away from his squad those players he feels have failed to make a consistent enough impact in his first team set-up as well as those out on loan who do not represent part of his long term plans.

Moyes is ready to listen to offers for a selection of wingers in the form of Ashley Young and Nani, two players Man United hope to garner £10m+ each from their sales, both of whom have failed to make an impact this season managing just one Premier League goal between them and zero assists, as well as new signing Wilfried Zaha, who has been left warming the bench for pretty much the entire season.

For whatever reason Moyes has not shown any faith in the former Crystal Palace man and will now look to receive offers as close to the £15m they forked out for the England man a year ago.

Mexican international Javier Hernandez has struggled to retain a foothold in the Man United first team and even with Robin Van Persie and Wayne Rooney both out of action the Guadalajara born marksman has still found himself behind in-form youngster Danny Welbeck.

There is reported interest from Tottenham though Man United are keen to sell to a team on the continent rather than a Premier League rival.

David Moyes will look to sell Brazilian Anderson on a permanent basis, having allowed the midfielder the chance to use Fiorentina as a potential shop window for his talents.

Full-back Fabio will be on his way out just as soon as a decent offer is made for the young Brazilian and Dutch wide-man Alexander Buttner is not seen by David Moyes as a viable long term replacement for Patrice Evra and as such is keen to move on, a move that will be accepted by the Premier League title holders.

Portuguese youngster Bebe is another who isn’t thought to have a Man United future and nominal offers may be accepted as Moyes looks to slash his wage bill, which he will seek to do by cutting the number of players he sends out on loan deals. Federico Macheda, the Italian who scored a famous winner against Aston Villa on his debut in April 2009, is another who will be sold.

Defensive trio Rio Ferdinand, Patrice Evra and Nemanja Vidic will all be out of contract in the summer and are all likely to be allowed to leave with David Moyes having already identified the likes of Benfica’s Ezequiel Garay and Real Madrid’s Fabio Coentrao as potential additions to help fill roles at left-back and the centre of defence.
