Unhappy Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez has reportedly told David Moyes that he wants out of the club in order to gain more playing time, according to the Metro.

Hernandez has never been able to fully establish himself as a first choice option during his time at the club has grown frustrated at his lack of opportunities, especially after being expected to lead the line following injuries to both Wayne Rooney and Robin Van Persie recently.

However, David Moyes preferred to go with Danny Welbeck instead and now the Mexican international believes the time is right to move on and has told the manager that he wants out.

It is not clear, though, whether he will depart during the January window or at the end of the season, but he is thought to prefer a quick exit as he still harbours hopes of making into the Mexico national team in time for this summer’s World Cup.

The likes of Valencia, Inter Milan and West Ham are all said to be interested in landing his signature, but United have given no indication that they are prepared to sell.
