Old Trafford side want White Hart Lane defender.
Man United have identified Tottenham defender Vlad Chiriches as a potential replacement for Nemanja Vidic according to Sports Direct News.
Old Trafford boss Moyes is said to have been impressed by the Romanian’s displays since moving to White Hart Lane last summer in a £8.5m switch.
Vidic is expected to leave when his current contract comes to a close in the summer and veteran Rio Ferdinand is likely to follow suit, leaving Moyes with the job of bringing in able replacements.
Chiriches has adapted well to life in the English top tier and could be tempted by a move to Man United, especially if Tim Sherwood fails to secure a Champions League berth for next term.
Tottenham would presumably demand a fair bit more than the amount they paid Steaua Bucharest for the 24 year old last December.
