Stamford Bridge manager linked with move to take over at Old Trafford.
Barely hours since Man United sacked David Moyes Italian source CalcioMercato claims that the club’s owners have contacted Jose Mourinho’s agent about the possibility of the Chelsea manager taking over at Old Trafford.
Jose Mourinho is said to have been interested in taking the hot-seat at Man United last summer and subsequently returned to Stamford Bridge.

A move to Man United would be sensational to say the least and not one that would endear himself to the Blues faithful, who have given Mourinho their full backing in his second spell at the west London club.
The Portuguese manager has had a generally successful return to the English top tier and is set for a pivotal week with his side set to face Atletico Madrid in the Champions League semi-finals tonight and then travel to Liverpool to take on the Premier League table toppers in what has become something of a must-win fixture for Mourinho’s men.
Man United are said to have made their interest in Mourinho known by approaching his agent Jorge Mendes but should such a move fail then they will turn to alternative targets which include Borussia Dortmund’s Jurgen Klopp and Dutch national team coach Louis van Gaal.
