The 25 year old Colombian is having an excellent campaign, scoring seven goals and providing five assists, though Vincenzo Montella’s side are set to miss out on a Champions League spot which may leave the club looking to balance the books.
Man United’s owners are ready to pump as much as £200m into signing new players and as such a £25m price-tag is well within the club’s budgets.
The Old Trafford side’s current wide attacking options have proven ineffective with the likes of Ashley Young, Nani and Luis Antonio Valencia putting in poor seasons, though Adnan Januzaj does look like a great prospect.
One imagines however that no big money moves will be made until a permanent successor to Moyes is appointed which could mean that any move for Cuadrado would more likely occur after the 2014 World Cup finals, by which time the talented wide-man may have earned himself a host of new admirers.
