The Old Trafford side have made a move for the 24 year old despite no permanent successor having been appointed to replace David Moyes though Dutch national team coach Louis van Gaal is strongly tipped to take the hot-seat.

Reus may be ready to consider leaving the Westfalenstadion and the former Borussia Monchengladbach has publicly stated he would not follow Mario Gotze and Robert Lewandwoski to Bayern Munich, which could make a move to the Premier League his next target.

The £35m rated German international has been in fantastic form over the past two season and could be the ideal man to link midfield and attack at Man United.

Reus joined a Borussia Dortmund side that had won back to back Bundesliga titles but ever since his arrival in July 2012 the club have been falling further and further behind their domestic rivals but this has not stopped the talented attacker from putting in consistent displays.

A return of 42 goals in 88 appearances, as well as 28 assists, is one that would clearly have a queue of interested parties waiting at Marco Reus’s door this summer.
