Manchester United’s Mexican striker Javier Hernandez has confirmed that he is talks with the Red Devils over a possible move away from Old Trafford this summer, reports the Express.
Once a super-sub under former United boss Sir Alex Ferguson, Hernandez now finds himself down the pecking order as the 4th choice centre-forward at the club and could get even lesser game time under new boss Louis Van Gaal if the Dutchman decides to sign a new centre-forward.
The 26-year old is currently preparing with the Mexican national team for the World Cup, and has attracted an offer from Italian giants Internazionale, who want to take him out on loan this season with a view to a permanent £10m switch next summer.
Speaking about his future, Hernandez was quoted saying in the Daily Express, “My future could be decided tomorrow, a little after, inside three months, I could stay there [in Manchester], I honestly don’t know. My people are working it out. I’m here [with Mexico] trying to be 100-percent focused [on the World Cup].”
Hernandez was restricted to just 35 appearances this past season for the Red Devils, of which just 12 were starts.
