AC Milan are set to challenge Chelsea, Arsenal and Man United for Mario Mandzukic.
English giants Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United must now up the ante in the pursuit of 28-year-old Bayern Munich striker Mario Mandzukic as Italian giants AC Milan are plotting a move for the Croatian, reports the Daily Star.
Mandzukic knows that he could well turn into a squad player at the Allianz Arena next season, despite having top scored for the Bavarians this term, owing to the arrival of Borussia Dortmund star Robert Lewandowski, and is hence also angling for a move away.
The Premier League could be a big attraction for Mandzukic, who could be paid much more than the wages he would get at Milan, moreover the former European heavyweights are no longer the same force they once used to be.
Milan’s interest though could set up an interesting next couple of weeks for this transfer saga as we could see striker shy clubs Chelsea and Arsenal making offers for him.
