Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur have been put on high alert after the agent of Colombian superstar James Rodriguez hinted that he could be open to a big money move this summer, according to talkSPORT.

The Monaco midfielder has been one of the stars of the World Cup so far and has played a massive part in getting the South Americans to the knockout stage of the tournament.
The 22-year-old has already been strongly linked with a move to Napoli with reports in Italy suggesting that a deal was close to being finalised.
However, both Louis Van Gaal and Mauricio Pochettino are both keen on snapping him up and are reportedly ready to step up their interest in his services this summer after his agent Aytekin Erayabakan admitted that Rodriguez is unsure over where he will be playing next season.
“I can confirm that I have spoken with Napoli,” Erayabakan said.
“(Aurelio) De Laurentiis is a great person and one of the best Presidents I have ever seen. But the Neapolitans are not the only ones that are following Rodriguez. Let’s see what the future holds.
“There are several European clubs after him, but it’s best not to say anything at the moment.
“How much will he cost? I don’t know. But what I can say is that his price has increased after the way he’s played these past few months.”
