Juventus are to push on with efforts to sign long term target Nani but are only willing to offer £4m for the Man United winger according to talkSPORT.

Such an offer is sure to be given short shrift by the Old Trafford side, not least as the 27 year old winger only recently signed a new long term contract, presumably for the very purpose of securing a decent fee for the Portuguese international.

Nani has become something of a bit-part player at Man United but is unquestionably still a very capable performer and is a player Louis van Gaal will look to cash-in on, but only at a fair price.

Man United paid £19m for Nani back in 2007 and though he spent a fair bit of time in the shadow of fellow countryman Cristiano Ronaldo the talented attacker has at times ‘raised his game’, finishing the 2010/11 season as the leading assist maker in the Premier League.

Nani may well be keen to re-ignite his career this summer and a move to Serie A title holders Juventus may well be a good way to go about it though the Italian giants would do well to at least double their valuation of the Man United man.
