The Old Trafford side has it’s fair share of deadwood and Louis van Gaal has found it hard to find buyers for Mexican forward Javier Hernandez and Brazilian midfielder Anderson due to their high wage demands and as such could look to terminate their contracts and look to agree terms on the remainder of their deals.
Whilst such an approach for Anderson is not all that surprising it is hard to understand why Chicharito can’t find a new club, even with his reported £80k a week salary expectations.
The 26 year old is a regular goal-scorer and if given the chance is capable of making a real impact elsewhere, indeed one imagines other Premier League outfits would be open to a move for a striker who has netted 59 goals in 153 appearances, of which 69 were from the bench.
Anderson spent half of last term at Fiorentina but didn’t do enough to persuade the Serie A side to bring him in permanently.
