Liverpool line up to take on West Ham in the Premier League on Saturday.
Liverpool’s shock defeat to Aston Villa last weekend acted as a wake up call for the side, who will need to be on guard again to make sure that there are no more little surprises in store for him. A midweek clash with Bulgarian minnows Ludogorets suggested that they are still yet to get out of second gear, but now is a perfect time to correct the errant form and this is how we believe they will line up to take on the Hammers.

GK: Simon Mignolet
Still undisputed number one, but will be until competition arrives.
LB: Alberto Moreno
The Spaniard has made a good start to life at Anfield and will get the chance to continue by putting in another strong performance.
CB: Dejan Lovren
The Croatian keeps his spot in the side despite two shaky performances in one week.
CB: Mamadou Sakho
Will probably have to keep a closer eye on his defensive partner, Lovren.
RB: Javier Manquillo
The youngster has been somewhat of an unsung hero so far, and will be tasked with keeping Reds flop Stuart Downing quiet.
CM: Steven Gerrard
Now sat further back in the midfield, he’ll need to be aware of being crowded out like he was last weekend.
CM: Jordan Henderson
The man tasked with eventually replacing Gerrard, he may have to do some extra tracking back to cover the former England skipper.
CM: Philippe Coutinho
The Brazilian will be the most likely to unlock West Ham’s defence.
LW: Adam Lallana
Will likely keep his place on the left, though he’ll have to start working for it now.
RW: Raheem Sterling
Kept in place following the Ludogorets win, will be instrumental in anything Liverpool build.
ST: Mario Balotelli
After bagging his first goal for the club during the week, he will be hoping for more of the same to get his Premier League account underway.
