Canadian pop sensation Justin Bieber reportedly offended members of the Catholic Church on a recent holiday to Rome.

According to CTVNews, Biebs was given a private tour of Vatican Museums and the Papal Apartments, but he ended up annoying the Church by kicking a football around the corridors of the holy and historic buildings.

Staff apparently told Bieber off, but no official comment has come from the Vatican.

Before the mediastorm, Bieber uploaded the below picture to Instagram.
