Roma’s crushing by Bayern Munich last night brought back some bad memories of when Manchester United gave them a similar spanking. Michael Carrick scored a fabulous early strike to set the tone, but the rest of the team weren’t to be outdone. Cristiano Ronaldo ran the show for Manchester United but it was Roma’s consolation that was the goal of the night, a rocketed Daniele De Rossi volley.
