The 33-year-old was released by Brisbane Roar last week and has signed to help City cover the loss of two midfielders on international duties.

Playmaker Aaron Mooy has been rewarded for his strong A-League form with a call up to the Socceroos for a friendly against Japan, while youngster Stefan Mauk has linked up with the Olyroos squad.

Miller joined his new teammates at training on Tuesday ahead of their clash with Central Coast on Sunday.

Football Federation Australia permits clubs to sign players on short-term contracts when at least two players are missing on international duty.
