Adelaide United head into the clash buoyed by a 3-2 win over Central Coast in the FFA Cup semi-finals and will fancy themselves against a depleted Phoenix outfit.
The Reds are undefeated this season and have been impressing all with their possession-based, fluid attacking game.
Wellington’s will be missing Michael McGlinchey, Jeremy Brockie, Michael Boxall and Tyler Boyd, who are all away on national team duties with New Zealand.
Louis Fenton will miss the game with a dislocated shoulder, while Jason Hicks’ groin injury will see him miss the trip to South Australia.
Although it all points towards an Adelaide win, the Phoenix have performed well-above expectations this season and you cannot rule them out.
