The former Leeds United man said the whole squad was down on confidence after a poor start to the season.

“Everyone’s down, I’m not going to lie, everyone’s a bit down,” Kisnorbo said.

“Confidence is a big issue, it’s a big thing and it’s a bit low after our last performance.”

City currently lie in seventh on the A-League table, managing just one win from its opening eight matches.

“Obviously there’s a lot of expectation on us because of Manchester City, but we’re not the only team in this world that’s gone through hard stages,” Kisnorbo said.
