Serie A side target Old Trafford attacker.
Juventus are lining up a January offer for Man United playmaker Juan Mata according to the Daily Express.
The Turin giants are said to be keen on the 26 year old Spaniard though Louis van Gaal will fight off bids for the former Chelsea man.
Mata started the season in average fashion but has slowly but surely proven his worth and as such van Gaal will not accept offers for the attacker, who has now become a regular in the Dutchman’s starting eleven even occasionally at the cost of record signing Angel di Maria.
Juventus are apparently ready to offer £18m for Mata which is less than half the £37.1m Man United paid for the player just a year ago.
The Serie A side have already failed with moves for Wesley Sneijder and Xherdan Shaqiri and look set to fail once again.
