Manchester United on-loan star Radamel Falcao doesn’t look set to stay permanently at Old Trafford after his disastrous stay at the club was compounded by the Colombian been called up for the U21s whilst his Man United teammates enjoyed a day out at Cheltenham.
Less than 24 hours after the crushing defeat to Arsenal in the FA Cup at home, a number of the Man United first team were out enjoying themselves whilst Falcao had to turn out alongside the development squads.
The Colombian hasn’t appeared in Man United’s last two games, despite his team needing goals on both occasion with Louis van Gaal opting for a Wayne Rooney and Marouane Fellaini duo.
“While he won’t admit it publicly, it’s becoming clear to him the move is not going to work out. For whatever reason Louis van Gaal just does not believe in him,” a source told the Sun.
Falcao has an option to buy in his contract believed to be over £40m, at this rate, there isn’t a chance Man United want to activate that and with Monaco unable to afford the striker, a move to a different club is a possibility come the summer.
