Ligue 1: Saint-Etienne coach hints at Tabanou return

Saint-Etienne coach Christophe Galtier has indicated that Franck Tabanou could be in line for a comeback from injury against Metz in Ligue 1 this weekend.

More bad news for Metz comes in the form of a likely return for left-winger Tabanou.

Speaking to the press on Thursday, as reported by France FootballGaltier indicated that the Frenchman, who has been out of action since February 28 after suffering a gluteal muscle injury, could be in contention for a place.

“[He] could be in the group this weekend,” said Galtier, speaking to the press.

He also gave a positive prognosis for injured pair Paul Baysse and Ismael Diomande suggesting that the Saint-Etienne staff “could reintegrate them into the collection sessions next week.”
