Viral: Chelsea, Arsenal target CRACKS and shares his own transfer speculation on social media

FC Porto’s Giannelli Imbula appears to have cracked as he attempts to seal a move away from Portugal, by sharing the speculation linking him with a move away from the club.

The Franco-Congolese midfielder appeared set to have secured an end to his unhappy stay at Porto when rumours emerged that Stoke City were planning to break their club transfer record to bring a premature end to his nightmare six-month sojourn in the Primeira League.

Indeed, Imbula has featured just 10 times in the league for the domestic heavyweights so far this season—having left Marseille in the summer—and has struggled to adapt to the demands of living abroad.

He impressed with OM last season, prompting interest from the Premier League—with Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur all understood to be keen on his signature.

It remains to be seen whether any of the three—as well as fellow suitors Valencia—will move for Imbula before the window slams shut, with Stoke having dropped their interest in the player after learning of the demands of both the midfielder and Porto.

Imbula himself is clearly desperate for a move, and actually opted to share an article referencing his aborted switch to Stoke. A ‘come and get me’ plea if ever there was one!
