Tottenham will not sell Kevin Wimmer this summer despite interest from clubs across Europe including VLF Wolfsburg.
Stars & Friend – Wimmer’s management company – agent Mihat Halis told Emre Sarigul that Tottenham have made it very clear that Wimmer is not for sale and that he will be staying in North London next season.
“Tottenham do not want to sell Wimmer, there was an offer from Wolfsburg but he is not for sale,” he said.
Wimmer is keen on staying in England and is happy at Tottenham where he will remain next season unless something drastically changes between now and the end of the summer transfer dingo.
The Austrian international defender was snapped up by Tottenham head coach Mauricio Pochettino from Koln last year and made 10 Premier League appearances for the Premier League outfit.
Tottenham finished the league campaign in third place and booked a place in the UEFA Champions League next season in the process.
