Man City’s £50m move for Everton star set to be accepted

Everton manager Ronald Koeman is set to give the green light on a move which will see John Stones move to Manchester City with Wilfred Bony plus cash coming in the opposite direction according to the Sun.

The daily tabloid states that Everton have agreed to sign Bony as a £15 million-makeweight in a deal which will see Stones join the Premier League giants.

The Ivory Coast international only made the move to City for £28m from Swansea back in January 2015 however, he has scored just six Premier League goals since making the switch.

Stones joined Everton from Barnsley back in January 2013 and was an unused substitute during all of England’s games at Euro 2016. The highly rated defender  made 41 appearances for Everton in all competitions last season.

Guardiola has already made major changes to the City squad with his latest signing Sane putting pen to paper on a five-year deal last week.
