Former Arsenal duo Matheiu Flamini and Emmanuel Adebayor have both struck a deal with Super Lig minnows Rizespor today according to manager Hikmet Karaman.

Karaman told Emre Sarigul that a deal is on the cards and that all that remains is for the financial details involved in the contract to be resolved.

Personal terms have been agreed with Flamini however, talks are still ongoing with Adebayor over his contract deal.

The talks are being brokered by football agent Özkan Do?an who is locked in negotiations with the Togo international.

Turkish sports newspaper Fanatik meanwhile report that the players could earn £1.7 million per-season each which would be a club record.

Rizespor are based on the eastern Black Sea coast and generally regarded as a mid-table team at best. In fact a relegation scrap would not exactly be a surprise either.

The Super Lig outfit do however, have an ambitious chairman who wants his side to challenge for a European spot.

A source close to the club revealed to Emre Sarigul that the club have already started printing club shirts with the two players name and number on the back in anticipation of the transfer.

Flamini is an Arsenal veteran who left on good terms with the Gunners faithful. Adebayor meanwhile is not exactly well loved by supporters of the North London outfit after taunting fans during his time at Tottenham and Manchester City.
