Jose Mourinho has confirmed that Morgan Schneiderlin is free to leave Manchester United for the right price, report the BBC.
Schneiderlin has been vastly out-of-favour at Old Trafford since Mourinho took the reigns in the summer, and the United boss has confirmed to the BBC that he will not stand in his way if he wants out:
The BBC also report that West Brom manager Tony Pulis confirmed today that he made an offer for Schneiderlin, as he looks to reinforce his midfield in the January transfer window. They believe that the bid was in the region of £13 million, considerably less than United paid for him in the summer of 2015.
It is also reported by the BBC that Everton are interested in signing Schneiderlin in January, though no official offer has been made by Ronald Koeman’s side.
Both sides will undoubtedly take encouragement from Mourinho’s comments today. It appears that Schneiderlin’s torment is coming to an end.
