Arsenal join the race to sign 27-year-old Bundesliga ace on a bargain

Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing the Borussia Dortmund midfielder Mahmoud Dahoud.

According to a report from Fichajes, the 27-year-old German midfielder will be a free agent at the end of the season and he has decided not to renew his contract with the club.

The Gunners could definitely use more quality in the central midfield and signing a player of his quality on a free transfer could prove to be a masterstroke for them.

The north London giants have been linked with a number of midfielders in recent weeks and the acquisition of Dahoud could prove to be a major bargain.

The 27-year-old has been one of the best midfielders in the Bundesliga over the last few seasons and he has the quality to thrive in the Premier League as well. Dahoud will add composure, control, creativity and technical ability to the Arsenal midfield.

His style of play should be a good fit for Mikel Arteta’s attacking football. Furthermore, the German midfielder is at his peak and he could offer his best years to the English club.
