Chelsea are looking to improve their attacking options with the signing of Victor Osimhen at the end of the season.
According to TBR Football, Chelsea are willing to pay his £q10 million release clause this summer. However, the Blues would prefer to pay the money in instalments instead of a lump sum.

The Blues signed Nicolas Jackson at the start of the season and he was expected to solve their goalscoring problems. The former La Liga forward has been quite underwhelming so far and Chelsea need to bring in an upgrade.
Osimhen should prove to be a superb acquisition for them. The Nigerian has the physical and technical attributes to do well in the Premier League and he could make an instant impact at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea has spent a substantial amount of money on new signings since the takeover. They are looking to put together a squad capable of winning major trophies and someone like Osimhen could make a big difference for them next season.
Chelsea have been overly dependent on Cole Palmer for goals and Osimhen and could share the goalscoring burden with the England international. Paris Saint-Germain are keen non-signing the Nigerian international as well and it remains to be seen where he ends up.
