A look at the key fixtures for Blackburn in 2013/14.
Blackburn will begin their second season in the Championship under new manager Gary Bowyer, who was chosen for the permanent position after Michael Appleton’s departure and a spell as caretaker boss at Ewood Park.
After spending so many years in the Premier League, Rovers will be hoping to make better progress in English football’s second tier this year, after a disappointing finish of 17th in 2012/13.
They will open with two tricky-looking fixtures, firstly away to Derby County and then at home to Nottingham Forest. They will also play rivals Bolton and Burnley in back-to-back games at the end of August and the start of September.
They will end their season at home to another newly-relegated side Wigan on the 3rd of May.
