Brazilian midfield ace talks up PSG move.
Lazio midfielder Hernanes has admitted that he is flattered by the links between himself and French moneybags PSG and has not ruled out making a summer switch to Ligue 1 this summer, Sky Sports reports.
The 28-year-old has been on the wish list of Tottenham Hotspur boss Andre Villas-Boas, as well as Serie A rivals AC Milan, but Lazio were quick to put the block on any transfer talk regarding the player last week.
However, the midfield ace has responded positively to the news that PSG have been watching him and has admitted that he could be open to a switch to Ligue 1 this summer.
“I read interest there could be about me in France,” he told L’Equipe. “That is something that makes me happy, to be coveted by a club of such level as PSG.
“But I don’t know any contact so far between a French club and my agent.”
Hernanes is currently away with the national side on Confederations Cup duty and has endured a mixed season with the Biancocelesti as they suffered a disappointing seventh placed finish in the league, but notched up a satisfying Copa Italia victory over cross city neighbours AS Roma.
