Moyes wants to lure the Republic of Ireland wide-man to Old Trafford though he may have a fight on his hands at the Toffees are not likely to be looking o cash-in on the in-form Everton star.

David Moyes opted to sign Coleman for just £60k back in 2008 and has helped him become one of the best defenders in the Premier League, with current Everton boss Roberto Martinez also playing his part in getting the most out of the attack minded full-back.

Arsenal are also keen on Coleman, seeing the Everton man as an ideal replacement for Bacary Sagna, who is out of contract in the summer, but a move to reunite with Moyes may well prove the bigger draw for the Goodison Park favourite.

Moyes has used Rafael and Chris Smalling to fill his right-back slot but may feel that Coleman is a better option and the Everton man has certainly impressed this term and has been an ever present in Premier League action, scoring five goals going forward and being assured at the back.
