David Moyes is known to be an admirer of the Chilean international and has taken personal scouting missions to monitor the former Bayer Leverkusen man this term and is ready to offer the 26 year old a bumper pay rise in order to tempt the midfield schemer into pursuing an Old Trafford switch.

Vidal is into his third season at the Turin side and has proven a very effective performer, netting 27 goals and providing 17 assists in 84 appearances in Serie A alone.

Moyes is clearly keen to add some much needed creativity to his midfield and with speculation rife that Chelsea’s Juan Mata is set to join the club the further addition of Vidal would certainly be a massive statement of intent from the struggling Premier League outfit.

This source claims that the Man United boss is ready to splash out more than £70m in a spending spree this month, moves he will hope help him to secure a top four finish.
