Valencia has made 25 appearances for the Red Devils this term, which have included a string of starts recently.

However, the Ecuador international is still far from happy over his level of involvement over the course of the season, but he stopped short of saying that he would be looking to leave the club this summer.

“I would like to have more minutes, I would like to have a more important role here,” he said.

“In fact, I would have liked to have more importance inside the team.

“But I have not been given the chance. I hope next season will be better for me as well as Man United.”

Valencia has been tipped to be just one of the many stars at the club to be shipped out over the summer as David Moyes prepares a drastic squad overhaul at the end of the campaign.
