Old Trafford star offered chance to land Juventus star.

Check in to Spain vs Chile

Man United have been offered the chance to sign Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal for a cut-price fee of €30m according to Gazzetta dello Sport, an offer Old Trafford boss Louis van Gaal may well look to pursue.

By all accounts Juve boss Antonio Conte is looking to secure funds from the sales of Vidal, and Spanish forward Fernando Llorente, which he will then look to use to strengthen his squad.

It’s a tad surprising that Conte would be open to cashing in on the Chilean international given just how pivotal he has been to the Turin side’s recent successes.

Vidal has played a key role in helping Juventus to Serie A titles in each of the three seasons he has been at the club, scoring 28 goals in 95 appearances in domestic league action alone.

Van Gaal could well do with a goal threat coming from his midfield, something the likes of Marouane Fellaini, Micheal Carrick, Darren Fletcher and Tom Cleverley clearly do not possess.

If Juventus are truly ready to sell the former Bayer Leverkusen man then one can expect other interested parties will make themselves known, especially if the 27 year old impresses during the World Cup finals.
