The 22-year-old has become one of the hottest properties in football this summer after his performances fired Colombia into the final eight of what has been an incredibly entertaining World Cup, bagging six goals in the process.
He joined Ligue 1 moneybags Monaco last summer in a £45m deal from Portuguese giants Porto, but reports in France are suggesting that United will make Monaco an offer with the premise of making a decent profit on him.
It is believed that United will put an initial offer of £65m on the table that will include a number of add-ons that will drive the final fee up to around £90m.
