New Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal is a notoriously difficult man to please – and it seems as though two of the United squad have already fallen foul of the Dutchman, with the Mirror reporting that he is considering offloading Nani and Wilfried Zaha after their attitude towards the club’s pre-season tour of the USA.

The wingers were already believed to be on the verge of a United exit after their underwhelming 2013/14 seasons at Old Trafford, but with van Gaal reportedly already having given them a major dressing down across the Atlantic it seems as though both could be sliding towards the exit door.

Nani seems to have gone somewhat stale at the club, after initially impressing with his pace and dazzling tricks upon joining from Sporting Lisbon, but the Portuguese international has become less productive in recent seasons.

Zaha, meanwhile, arrived from Crystal Palace with a reputation as one of England’s finest young players, but he failed to make the grade under David Moyes last season and found himself farmed out on loan to Cardiff City, where he also struggled to make an impact.

With van Gaal never having been one to delay on making a decision, it seems as though Nani and Zaha will be required to buck up their ideas soon or find themselves hurtling towards the exit door.
